Pondok Indah Mall invites everybody to celebrate Indonesia’s 72nd Independence Day under the theme of “Pasar Nusantara”in the spirit of Unity in Diversity (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika). Until 20 August, visitors can enjoy various events in the fields of culinary, arts, culture and fashion.

For all food lovers, the mall presents the Jajanan Nusantara exhibition, which showcases more than 25 traditional dishes like Empal Gentong, Ketoprak, Tempe Mendoan, Gudeg, Pempek, Es Podeng, Dawet Ireng and many more. This colourful food festival will be held at North Skywalk on the second floor of the mall.

On PIM 1 Ground Floor and Atrium Street Gallery, Galeri Nusantara displays various Indonesian handmade products, including batik, puppets, traditional cloth and toys, interior equipment and many more.

Meanwhile, Fashiontastic 2017, which has adopted the theme “Ragam Karya Indonesia”, invites visitors to witness fashion shows from famous Indonesian designers, fashion schools and PIM’s fashion tenants, namely Ivan Gunawan, Barli Asmara, Mahadevi, Danjyo Hiyoji, Hengki Kawilarang, Musa Widyatmodjo, Zainal Songket, Handy Hartono and many more.  

On 17 August at 7 PM, the mall will also present traditional dance performances like Sendratari Ramayana, Kecak and Gamelan on the stage of Fashiontastic 2017.
