Hong Kong houses the world’s leading fashion brands. To reinforce Hong Kong’s status as a city of design excellence in Asia, the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSARG) will provide additional resources for the Hong Kong Design Centre and one billion Hong Kong dollars will be injected to strengthen support for the design and creative industries.

A variety of arts festivals manifest Hong Kong’s vibrant cultural life. The city also boasts many museums, concert halls and performance venues. Its West Kowloon Cultural District is one of the largest cultural projects in the world.

Hong Kong continues to develop an intelligent transport system and other key infrastructure projects for Smart City development. The HKSARG also provides tax concession and other incentives to encourage private investment in research and development and launched the “Technology Talent Scheme” to train and pool technology talent.
