Ready to dine on some very fine swine or sink your teeth into mouthwatering meats? Here’s a place for you. Hog Wild with Chef Bruno is still a sassy and groovy restaurant known throughout Bali and beyond for its stress-free atmosphere and family style tables where everyone can celebrate life and share the love and laughter without boundaries. Pork aficionados, take note: Hog Wild in Bali’s pork ribs are wicked (-ly good)! Using the Josper technique, but using the wood from coffee tree, your ribs at Hog Wild are sure to be wicked. Just go through their Wild (in)Famous BBQ Chef Recommendation on the menu, pick one, try it out, and you’ll know what we mean.
Fret not, non-pork eaters, for you’re still in for a treat at Hog Wild with Chef Bruno. The restaurant’s Black Angus Rib-Eye Steak (Australian, 200-day grain-fed, 250gr), Beef Skewer (Australian, 100-day grain-fed), and Bebek Goreng (crispy duck confit with urap veggies and steamed rice or hand cut fries) will for sure satisfy both your tongue and tummy. But before you go all wild with the restaurant’s tender, juicy meats, there’s something called green mango salad (seasonal) that you should also try to give a refreshing start to your carnivorous feast here.
These satisfying touches carry over to what the restaurant calls the “Wildest Drinks”. In case you’re not familiar with the restaurant, here’s a heads up: Hog Wild with Chef Bruno is famous for their brutal martinis. They’re quite strong, indeed, but don’t get too intimidated by the martinis. Instead, get intimidated by the servers who serve you your martini order, for they will ‘shake, shake, shake’ dance and make noise whilst shaking your martini right at your table. If and when you do, then it’s time to get up and dance with them and let your hair down! That’s how they do it there.
