Foodies rejoice! The city is readying itself for French Connection – Festival Gastronomique Jakarta 2016, presented by renowned chef, Gilles Marx, of AMUZ Gourmet Restaurant. After the success of Gastronomic Fair, which was created by Mozaic owner/ chef, Chris Salans last year, Jakarta has been chosen to host the prestigious gastronomic festival this year from May 25 – 28.
This grandest of culinary events is set to be one of the biggest and boldest gastronomic extravaganzas of the year. The French Connection will bring together five celebrity chefs from various parts of the world to celebrate French gourmet food in Jakarta as well as to reveal the most current international food trends to Indonesian audiences. Of course, the guest chefs will also be introduced to Indonesian culinary heritage in order to promote the uniqueness and richness of the archipelago’s food and ingredients.
