The Plaza Indonesia’s famous European brasserie, La Moda, recently launched their new Sunday High Tea Buffet’ programme to celebrate the classic of British high tea tradition.

“Unlike any other high teas in Jakarta, we serve our food in buffet so our clients can taste a little of everything,” La Moda Marketing Communication Executive Pricilia said during the launching event. Besides La Moda’s signature Western menu, customers can also relish the new fusion creations which blending Western palate with Indonesian taste, such as Srikaya croissant -a combination between Palembang and French desserts.

“I want to evoke our nationalistic spirit since some countries have replicated several Indonesian cuisines and claimed as theirs,” explained Chef Gideon Sumeigo Michael Frans about his new products. With IDR 138,000++, customer can indulge in free flows of coffee or tea plus countless of bite-size cakes, puddings, and pastries every Sunday from 3 PM to 6 PM.
