DISCOVERASR.COM: Ascott Launches New Online Travel Booking Platform

The Ascott Limited, the fully-owned lodging business sector of CapitaLand, has recently launched, its very own online travel booking platform that unifies Ascott’s 14 lodging brands and provides global one-stop access to over 400 properties. This includes serviced apartments, co-living spaces and hotels that add up to around 77,000 units across 130 cities in over 30 countries.

The 14 award-winning lodging brands that are featured in the new booking platform are Ascott The Residence, The Crest Collection, Somerset, Quest, Citadines, lyf, Préférence, Vertu, Harris, Citadines Connect, Fox, Yello, Fox Lite and POP! With the sleek and more practical user experience, guests can simply browse through their next travel destination and find their “home away from home.” Additionally, over 10,000 properties under TAUZIA Hotel Management are available for the first time on

Moreover, Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) members, Ascott’s loyalty programme, can filter their search for ASR participating properties, which is a strongly requested feature between ASR members. This feature enables guests to maximise their membership privileges. How? The filter feature allows ASR members to easily find and book the best deals at ASR participating properties as well as redeeming their ASR points to compensate for the total cost of their stay.

Not only that, there will be around 70 ongoing promotions in the ‘Featured Offers’ section that guests will be able to take advantage of for their future stays, while the ‘City Destination’ will assist guests in planning their next trip. Guest Reviews of the properties can also be viewed to help guests pick out their ideal accommodation. Guests can customise their stay with add-ons such as breakfast and airport transfers when making reservations on the new platform.

The Traveller’s Discovery Campaign

Ascott will jumpstart its ‘The Traveller’s Discovery’ campaign to reward ASR members in celebration of the launch of It’ll be a first for Ascott on issuing non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptographic assets on blockchain that present proof of ownership and scarcity for digital content.

11 NFTs have been created for the ‘The Traveller’s Discovery’ campaign and the collectable series presents exclusive artworks showcasing Ascott’s Cubby mascot, each in a different destination. Not for sale, the NFTs will be uploaded to one of the world’s earliest and largest NFT marketplaces for rare digital items and crypto collectables, OpenSea, that will be given out as prizes in a weekly lucky draw. ASR members can participate in 14 virtual mini-games featuring popular destinations around the globe so that they can increase their chances of winning the NFTs. Members can also attain up to 1,400 ASR points through the games.

Corporate Partners Offer Special ASR Privileges

To support the launch of, corporate partners such as credit card companies are offering special ASR privileges. JCB is collaborating with Ascott in the anticipation of the post-pandemic phase by offering their cardholders special ASR privileges. From now until 14 May 2022, JCB cardholders can get 20% OFF Best Flexible Rates at participating ASR properties via direct booking at by entering the promo code ‘GJCB20’. They’ll also enjoy a complimentary ASR status upgrade to the Silver Tier (worth S$1,000), which allows them to receive an additional 20% ASR points for every booking.

Ascott Star Rewards Incorporates TAUZIA’s Loyalty Programme

Along with the integration of TAUZIA’s properties aboard the new, members of TAUZIA’s loyalty programme, My TAUZIA Privilege (MTP), will also be part of ASR. Existing MTP members can join ASR membership and enjoy a 25% discount eVoucher after they link their MTP account to their new ASR account. MTP Friendly and Unique tier members will be on the same rank as ASR’s Silver and Platinum Tier, respectively. MTP members can convert their MTP points to ASR points and get 2,000 ASR bonus points upon completion of their first exchange. Then they will earn ASR points from thereafter.
