Highlighting a varied range of cross-cultural cuisines and culinary traditions from Argentina and Uruguay, El Asador has launched a revamped version of the meat signatures.

Tucked away on Kemang street, South Jakarta, El Asador is one of Jakarta’s top dining destinations for South American cuisine. El Asador has a menu that could please any palette, and its way more than just listing items. Following a décor revamp and menu that focuses on easy-going Argentine-Uruguay style eating, El Asador impresses the palettes of guests at a preview recently.

Having full-on industrial chic elegant touch, the woody elements in this restaurant create a warm, inviting feel. Exposed brickwork is mixed with wooden ceiling element, providing some pretty tenacious decoration.

The new menu reveals a new, more mature flavour profile ensuring the food and beverage offering enhances the experience of dining and entertainment. Juicy and tender steaks sizzle away on the open-fire grill.

Starting from Vacío (flank steak), this hunger-killing beef cut is cooked properly, making the exterior fat gets crisp and the inside delightfully tender, flavourful and very juicy. If you haven’t tried this one, give it a go on your next visit!

Ready for a tasty new take on chicken meal? Try Pamplonas. Chicken is a go-to protein choice to dine in and out. Having set with a selection of premium-quality seasonal produce like meat and vegetables, this cuisine is made of juicy chicken breast fillets rolled with cheese, green olives, capsicum in a shape of a tightly bound large sausage tenderised with lamb fat and grilled to a crisp. 

With these new meat signatures, all is pointless without the fresh Chimichurri sauce. This traditional chimichurri recipe has a very smooth olive oil-base and is a robust condiment to complement any grilled meat.

Enjoying the dishes already? Now go on to a signature beverage served in a version of hot chocolate Submarino. A piece of dark submarine chocolate added to a glass makes a glass of warm, frothed milk and stirred in. Another must try is Spicy Star, a magic blend of pineapple, star fruit and chili syrup. The addition of chili creates a level of heat, giving it a dimension on its taste.
