On Sunday, 28 January 2024, The Fiona Unity Foundation invites you to give back on Australia Day with a day of community fun and fundraising. The all-day event is focused on raising donations for their ongoing ‘Small Steps’ program.

This commemoration of Australia Day in Jakarta will take place New Star Bar & Resto Kemang, starting at 3pm, featuring all-round Aussie fun, including pie-eating competitions, boat races, Aussie rules pool competitions, raffles and giveaways! Dress as Dame Edna or Crocodile Dundee to win a prize. The entrance fee to the celebration event is priced at IDR 200.000, inclusive of the first beer and an Aussie sausage sizzle.

100% of all donations go directly to The Fiona Unity Foundation’s ‘Small Steps’ Program, where together with the LIDI Foundation they are working to deliver hundreds of walking aides to marginalised communities and differently-abled individuals.

The Fiona Unity Foundation was founded in 2014 by Fiona Forrest, who experienced first-hand sad and horrific sights during her long time in Indonesia. She decided that action was needed. The foundation aims to have a boots-on-the-ground approach, and always act in the children’s best interests. They aim to create lasting solutions to serious illness, poverty and hunger for Indonesia’s most vulnerable.
