This month, the Collage All Day Dining restaurant, located on the 12th floor of Pullman Jakarta Central Park, holds two food festive celebrations: the German Food Festival (Oktoberfest) and Halloween.
The restaurant welcomes all foodies to feel the excitement of Oktoberfest, one of the most festive celebrations in Germany, by indulging in a special buffet from 1 to 31 October 2016. The authentic German food experience starts with Bayrischer Kartoffelsalat (Bavarian potato salad), Bohnensalat (green bean salad) and Bayrischer Wurstsalat (Bavarian cold salad) at the appetizer section. The Oktoberfest, however, would not be complete without a wide range of meat selections - choices include the Beef Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and Mashed Potato and Sauerbraten mit Rotkraut und Spaetzle (Germany grilled pickled with red cabbage and Spaetzle). Other options include Fisch Auf Gemuese Beet (fish fillet in Papiloute), Zigeunerpfanne (chicken fillet in bell pepper sauce), Rotkraut (red cabbage) and Rinderroulade (beef roulade). A daily menu rotation provides food enthusiasts with an enticing culinary experience, rich in variety, during the entire month of October.
As dessert, foodies can savour typical German sweets such as Kaiserschmarrn Mit Apfelmus (pancake with raisins), Kaesekuchen (cheese cake) and the famous Schwarzwaelderkirschtorte (black forest cake): layers of sponge cake served with whipped cream, chocolate and cherries with alcohol scent. Oktoberfest is also synonymous with beer: both Warsteiner Beer and Paulaner Beer can be enjoyed from IDR 90.000++ per bottle.
To celebrate Halloween, the restaurant will host a special weekend brunch on 29 and 30 October (11:30 AM to 03:00 PM). The Halloween buffet offers culinary delights for the whole family in a haunting yet charming setting following the Western Halloween theme. Starting from IDR298.000++/person inclusive of international specialties and free flow of mineral water, foodies can look forward to bountiful arrays of tempting Western, Indian and Asian cuisine, exciting fresh seafood, dishes from the cook-to-order stations and mouthwatering desserts.
