The Accor-owned multinational upscale hotel brand, Pullman Hotels and Resorts, unveils its first property on the island of Lombok with Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort. The newly-opened beachfront oasis presents globetrotters with an immersive escape for both leisure and business.

Nestled on the southern coast of Lombok, Indonesia, the all-new resort presents travellers with a lively destination to unwind, recharge and reconnect. Boasting an impressive 257 stylish rooms, the resort takes on a modern approach to beachfront hospitality, tucked amidst a private and secluded bay enclosed by verdant rolling hills. Only a 20-minute drive from Lombok International Airport, the resort enjoys easy access to the nearby Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, which has become the venue for some of Southeast Asia’s most exciting motorsports events, including the recent second rounds of the 2022 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season.

The Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort is a fantastic addition to our network in Indonesia. The resort perfectly blends our stylish Pullman concepts with the local artistry of Indonesian designers, ensuring a vibrant experience across every touch point of the resort,” said Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer of Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. “Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort boasts a modern and connective experience with extensive fitness and wellbeing facilities, enabling guests to maintain peak performance and personal wellbeing whilst on the road,” he continued.

Pullman’s collection of hotels and resorts are meticulously designed to cater to travellers’ every need with distinctively stylish character and alluring spaces, a place where guests can opt to stay connected or simply escape from reality and the burdens of everyday life.

As the first five-star resort introduced in Mandalika, Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort is home to 257 well-appointed rooms, expansive suites and villas that marry contemporarily designed room interiors with traditional Sasak art, the native tribe of Lombok. Each room spoils guests with a stunning private balcony with options of garden views or mesmerising views of the Indian Ocean. Handcrafted bath amenities that utilise locally sourced ingredients for suites and villas are incorporated to elevate guests’ resort stay experience.

Before enjoying a leisurely time soaking up the sun or enjoying the cool ocean breeze, guests are welcomed to the open-air Pullman lobby, dubbed The Junction, where they can immerse themselves in local art. It is more than just a place to arrive, eat and check in, The Junction is a vibrant and happening space all on its own.

We are very excited to introduce the first Pullman resort in Lombok at this prime location on the southern coast. We strive to provide travellers with inspiring, active and fun programs that focus on their well-being. Art also plays a significant part in the resort’s programming, allowing for a seamless playground to unlock guests’ imagination. We are thrilled to invite travellers to explore and up their game at our new vibrant playground in Lombok,” said Vincent Wybier, General Manager of Pullman Lombok Mandalika Beach Resort.

At the resort, guests can indulge in four diverse dining and drinking venues, namely Aer Restaurant, the all-day dining venue offering classic comfort food and innovative fusion flavours; Sgara Seafood Restaurant, a venue that grants guests magical sunset views as they savour fresh seafood and local catch of the day; The Lobby Lounge, an artful and inviting open-air space with awe-inspiring ocean and pool views; and Lalo, the swim-up bar adjacent to the resort’s free-form swimming pool.

For guests wanting to stay in shape during their stay, take advantage of the fitness lounge, a facility that inspires and encourages guests to stay fit with Pullman’s Global Fit programmes, trainers, specialty classes and state-of-the-art exercise and weight equipment. When it comes to self-care, Pullman Spa pampers guests with a modern wellness haven with four pampering treatment pavilions and reflexology chairs, complete with a team of professionally trained therapists.

The resort’s facilities feature event spaces including the Mandalika Ballroom, a 230 square-metre space that can accommodate up to 300 guests. Equipped with a 200+ inch LCD video wall, spacious pre-function area with floor-to-ceiling windows and natural daylight, the ballroom is an idyllic venue for presentations, receptions, banquets or conferences. The resort also features four additional function rooms that cater for events with up to 70 people.

Guests staying at the resort can also embark on adventures and explore some of the island’s most famous tourist destinations, including Tanjung Aan Beach, Selong Belanak beach and Kuta Beach, where they can enjoy various activities including surfing and snorkelling. Other activities include trekking to Merese Hill and Mount Tunak Nature Park, where travellers can enjoy views of rolling, forested hills and sunsets over the Indian Ocean. Those wanting to learn more about the island’s culture can visit Ende and Sade villages, the traditional villages of Lombok’s Sasak tribe.
