Indonesian Heritage Society: Museum Day

The Indonesian Heritage Society (IHS) invites the public to join a special guided tour at Museum Nasional Indonesia on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Led by IHS docents, the programme will guide participants through selected galleries of the museum to uncover stories of diversity and power, spiritual beliefs, and artistic achievements, offering a deeper appreciation of Indonesia’s cultural and historical legacy.

Through these narratives, participants will discover how the creators, innovators, and fighters of Indonesia’s past helped shape the modern nation. This unique programme offers not only a cultural journey but also an opportunity to engage with the museum’s most iconic collections. The guided tour is free and open to all, only requiring a museum entry ticket to join the tour.
