The British Women’s Association (BWA) will host its annual Charity Ball at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta on 9 May 2026, presenting an evening of dining, entertainment and fundraising in support of Rachel House. Under the theme “A Day at the Races”, this year’s event draws inspiration from Royal Ascot, bringing British social tradition into a charitable evening with proceeds directed towards children’s palliative care in Jakarta.

Proceeds from this year’s Charity Ball will support Rachel House, a Jakarta-based charity that provides end-of-life care for children and support for their families. The fundraising focus places the cause at the centre of the evening, giving the event a clear purpose alongside its social programme.

Reflecting the Royal Ascot theme, one of the evening’s highlights will be the “It’s All About the Hats” catwalk, featuring a range of striking headpieces inspired by the long-standing millinery tradition of the races. Guests will also enjoy dinner in the Grand Ballroom, followed by live music and dancing.

The event is organised by the British Women’s Association, which annually gathers its members, partners and wider community for a fundraising evening in Jakarta. This year’s Charity Ball is supported by corporate sponsors including NOW! Jakarta, Asian Tigers, Prigel, Happy Tap, BSJ, BritCham, TrueCare and Turkuaz, alongside other contributors.

Tickets are priced at IDR 2,300,000 for members and IDR 2,500,000 for non-members. Alongside the themed programme and venue, the evening offers guests the chance to support Rachel House’s care services for children and their families.
