From Liu Li Palace’s Chinese New Year Special Set Menu, available from 9 February to 3 March 2026, to the distinctive offerings at Rasa Restaurant and Blue Terrace, each venue presents its own way to honour the season through Cantonese traditions, shared tables, and thoughtful indulgences.
For travellers arriving in Jakarta during the Lunar New Year, the season can feel quite distant with festivals happening everywhere, yet nowhere close to. Dining becomes a way to reconnect, a step into the familiar rhythm of symbolic dishes, and long conversations. No place better to have experienced this than at Liu Li Palace.
The restaurant’s Chinese New Year promotion is built around the symbolism of the Fire Horse, which is reflected directly in the menu, focusing on premium seafood, classic Cantonese cooking techniques, and traditional festive dishes. The set menus are designed to showcase a range of signature items, including Yu Shang, roasted duck, abalone, lobster, and other seafood, alongside festive desserts. All dishes are prepared using traditional methods, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and customary flavours associated with the season.



Liu Li Palace’s four set menus are structured around different group sizes and occasions. The Lucky Set, priced at IDR 1,688,000++ per person, opens with Liu Li’s Yu Shang with salmon, followed by braised superior shark’s fin, roasted duck, abalone with sea cucumber, and a sequence of seafood and meat dishes before finishing with peach gum dessert and nian gao. The Reunion Set at IDR 1,888,000++ per person adds celebratory centrepieces such as barbecued suckling pig, lobster with salt and chilli, wagyu beef, and mango sago with pomelo. For those seeking a richer progression, the Fortune Set at IDR 2,288,000++ per person features duo fish Yu Shang, five-style suckling pig, double-boiled shark fin soup, lobster with garlic and egg white, beef short ribs with Szechuan sauce, and seafood fried rice with truffle. The Harmony Set, the most extensive at IDR 2,888,000++ per person, brings together mixed fruit Yu Shang, roasted crispy suckling pig, stone pot shark fin soup, lobster with spring onion and vermicelli, wagyu with mushrooms and cashews, crab meat fried rice with tobiko, and stewed pear with bird’s nest.
For larger gatherings, the restaurant offers Poon Choi, served family-style. The Propitious Poon Choi, priced at IDR 2,688,000++, includes roasted duck, beef brisket, crispy pork, prawn, poached chicken, goose feet, and sea cucumber, while the Reunion Poon Choi at IDR 4,188,000++ adds pig knuckle, fish maw, abalone, and black mushroom for a more ceremonial table.



Those seeking something lighter can opt for Liu Li Lucky Yi Shang à la carte, available with salmon or tuna, from IDR 328,000++ for a small portion and IDR 498,000++ for a large. The Lunar Sip Celebrations complete the experience with seasonal drinks such as Ni Hao, a citrus and osmanthus blend at IDR 65,000++, and Ang Pao, an oolong tea and vodka cocktail at IDR 95,000++.
Across the property, two complementary dining experiences extend the celebration. At Blue Terrace, the White Foal Cake is offered as a takeaway treat for the season, layered with osmanthus jelly, coconut passion mousse, passion curd, coconut dacquoise, and lapis legit. Individual slices are priced at IDR 100,000++, while whole cakes are available at IDR 525,000++. Meanwhile, Rasa Restaurant hosts The Year of Fire Horse Feast, a buffet accompanied by a magic show on Chinese New Year’s Eve and traditional lion dance performances. Dinner on 16 February is priced at IDR 888,000++ per person, while lunch on 17 February is IDR 738,000++ per person. Children aged 7–12 receive a 50 per cent discount, and a Buy 3 Dine 4 promotion is available for group bookings.
