More than 150 volunteers will take to the stage at Teater Besar, Taman Ismail Marzuki, on 18 April 2026 for Greatest Love of All. This charity orchestra concert is organised to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer, with proceeds going towards the expansion of Rumah Singgah Lions in Jakarta.

The concert was initiated by Lions Club Jakarta Tomang Sejati in response to a pressing need faced by many young patients and their families. For children from outside Jakarta who must undergo long-term treatment in the capital, the challenge often extends well beyond medical care itself. Accommodation, daily support and the strain of extended stays can place a serious burden on families already dealing with illness. Through this concert, the organisers are directing attention to that reality while working to provide practical support.

Greatest Love of All stands out for the scale of the collaboration behind it. More than 150 volunteers from different generations are involved in the production, bringing together a wide range of ages, skills and backgrounds. Producer and director Amelia Angeliqa Hadinata said the concert grew from a shared concern for children facing not only illness, but the financial and emotional weight that often comes with treatment. “This concert is a reflection of compassion in action. We hope it becomes a space where music can bring people together, not only to enjoy a performance but also to contribute to a greater cause,” she said.

That sense of collective effort is central to the event. Music Director Willy Aviantara noted that the strength of the concert lies in the people behind it. “When people from different generations and backgrounds come together, the impact becomes much stronger,” he said. It is this mix of purpose and participation that gives the evening its shape, placing music in service of something grounded and immediate.

The concert also involves National Global School and students from LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, giving young people and emerging creatives a direct role in the production. Their involvement adds another layer to the event, turning it into a shared civic and collective effort.

Set as both a musical presentation and a fundraising initiative, the programme is intended to encourage reflection as much as attendance. The organisers hope for the public to support children fighting cancer, by involving in a cultural evening that carries a clear social purpose.

Tickets are available via TipTip.id, priced from IDR 350,000 to IDR 850,000. Donation tickets are also available from IDR 1,500,000 for those who wish to contribute further. For those looking to spend an evening on something that extends beyond the concert hall, Greatest Love of All offers a direct way to do so.
