PT Java Festival Production has announced the first phase of the lineup for the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026, which will take place from 29 to 31 May 2026 at NICE, PIK 2, Tangerang, marking the festival’s 21st edition with a significant shift in both scale and setting.

After more than two decades, the Java Jazz Festival enters what its organisers describe as a new chapter. Since its inception, the festival has grown into the largest jazz festival in Southeast Asia and the Southern Hemisphere, combining international names with Indonesian artists while contributing to the country’s creative economy. The move to NICE, PIK 2 reflects an effort to provide more space for performances and audiences, as well as improved accessibility for international visitors.

This year’s edition also arrives under a renewed identity. Presented as the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival, the event signals a broader ambition to remain globally relevant while continuing to serve as a meeting point for musicians across genres and generations. Dewi Gontha, President Director of PT Java Festival Production, said the milestone carries both reflection and momentum. “Twenty-one years has been a journey filled with meaning. We see Java Jazz as a meeting point for culture, creativity, and generations, and this new chapter allows us to present a more inclusive, world-class experience,” she noted.

The first phase of the lineup sets the tone as Eight-time Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste will headline a special show on Friday, 29 May, while South Korean band wave to earth is scheduled for a special performance on Saturday, 30 May. International acts including Dave Koz & Summer Horns, Lisa Simone, Thee Sacred Soul, Close Counters, Citrus Sun, and Incognito will appear alongside Indonesian names such as Slank, RAN, Bilal Indrajaya, and Ziva Magnolya. Additional artists are set to be announced in the coming months.

Tickets for the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026 are now available via the official website, with updates continuing across the festival’s social media channels.
