Candlelight® Concerts in Jakarta

Jakarta’s cultural scene is about to be illuminated in the most enchanting way. Candlelight®, the global concert series that has redefined how audiences experience classical music, is making its debut in Indonesia.

At GPIB Immanuel and Soehanna Hall, thousands of candles will transform the historic church and sleek performance space into intimate stages where music feels closer and more personal. Celebrated from Sydney to Singapore, the series reimagines timeless compositions in immersive settings that bridge tradition and modernity. Jakarta’s edition will spotlight local talent and present programmes that flow seamlessly from Mozart, Chopin, and Vivaldi to inventive tributes to Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, promising evenings of warmth, artistry, and atmosphere.

Beginning this January 2026, Immanuel’s Church and Soehanna Hall will be lit up as stages, with the schedules as follows:
