Symphony For the Nation: 8 Decades of Indonesian Music

The Jakarta Concert Orchestra presents “8 Decades of Indonesian Music” (8 Dekade Musik Indonesia) as part of the Symphony for the Nation (Simfoni Untuk Bangsa) series. Taking place on Saturday, 2 August 2025 at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Taman Ismail Marzuki, the concert begins at 7.30 PM.

Led by maestro Avip Priatna, the evening will feature iconic works by Indonesian composers from 1945 to 2025, reflecting the nation’s historical journey, spirit of resilience, patriotism, and the diverse identity of modern Indonesia. The concert will also feature outstanding performances by Batavia Madrigal Singers, The Resonanz Children’s Choir, Armonia Choir, Isyana Sarasvati (soprano) and Farman Purnama (tenor).
