The atmosphere at Balai Latihan Kesenian Jakarta Pusat transformed into a center for active creation on March 15, 2026, as Sehari Jadi Seniman invited everyone to participate in the artistic process.
This event served as an all-access pass into the hard work behind the scenes, curated by the LSPR Communication and Business Institute’s latest cohort as their final Capstone Project. For more than fifty participants, the day was all about learning what it takes to build a show from scratch, covering everything from dance and acting to the technical side of stage production.
Supported by the Creative Rangers, the space was filled with energy as part of the #EkspresikanDiriJadiSeniman movement, where the focus remained on the process of discovery and growth. This collaboration created a comfortable environment for artistic expression, allowing participants to explore roles they had never previously imagined for themselves. The performance delivered a polished and seasoned realisation of hidden potential that resonated with everyone in attendance.
The end of this debut event marked a significant moment for both the organisers and the local community. This successful start for Sehari Production shows a move towards an arts scene that values hands-on experience and makes it easier for the next generation of creatives in the city to get started. By bringing together classroom learning and the real world of the industry, the programme has created a plan for future projects that help young people experience the arts by actually taking part in them.
