On 13 December 2018, BritCham and all its members had a blast at the only authentic British Christmas Bash in Jakarta. We celebrated glory (Asian Games 2018), honour (commemoration of 100th year Remembrance Day) and legacy (100 years of British Royal Air Force).
2018 also marked the start of the second decade of “Giving Kids A Sporting Chance”, where we celebrate by giving gifts and rewards sharing to less fortunate children from Majelis Taklim Al-Ikhlas, handed by the Gold Medalists couple, Hanifan YK and Pipiet Kamelia. There is always more to celebrate as we launched the publication of the BritCham Handbook 2018/2019. Copies were presented to H.E. Moazzam Malik and BritCham’s Chairman, Ainsley Mann.
We also presented a few surprises. We hosted the BritCham’s Got Talent competition, in which the winner received a barrel of beer from The Aphrodite Group. Some of the contestants paid tribute to the Queen.
