If you’re an avid fan of Korean popular culture, there’s no better place to learn about this ‘Land of the Morning Calm’ than Korean Culturan Centre (KCC) Jakarta. Conveniently located at the heart of Jakarta, the institution aims to continue to showcase Korean fascinating culture in Indonesia and strengthen the interactions between the two countries.
In order to realise this objective, KCC has been equipped with modern facilities that can be used by visitors and members freely every day. This includes an integrated library which is stored with hundreds of books, CDs and DVDs collection, and a Multimedia Room to screen diversified Korean television programmes as well as cultural and educational videos.
Visitors can also take advantage of several computers available in this room to play various Korean multimedia games. Furthermore, KCC also has Haninsil or multifunction hall to host numerous activities like exhibitions, conferences, workshops, movie screenings and many more events. Interestingly, KCC gives the opportunity for general public to host their Korea-Indonesia related events here at no cost (subject to certain terms and conditions). And of course for those who wish to master the Korean language, KCC also provides several spacious classes to accommodate these learning programmes.
