“An evening party or gathering, typically in a private house, for conversation or music” is the premise to represent the attitude of the bar that boasts their priority on a personal experience. As the newcomer to the nightlife scene in trendy Senopati, Soirée is lowkey, yet, speak-easy as the small bar is impossible to find with barely any signage to be seen.

Nestled on the second floor of the same building with its sister, 3 Wise Monkeys, Soirée welcome its guests with dimmed lighting and a warm greeting from the inhouse member who accompanies the patrons to have their comfortable seat. The interior is inspired by a typical European-style bar during the Prohibition Era with a subtle accent of local contemporary design. The bar ensures one’s personal space as the room is designed for limited guests.

It seems very exclusive, but Soirée doesn’t sell pretentiousness. The room is high-end but casual and modest, and allows anyone to naturally build a connection with their company.

For those having an interest in the cocktails, sit on the bar table and speak to the bartender to get the story behind Soirée’s signature cocktails, including Green Sushi, a concoction of Cointreau, lemongrass gin, Elderflower liqueur, Elderflower lemongrass syrup, Kiwi Sorbet, Spring mint and lemongrass stick. It’s a good pairing if one orders the Japanese cuisine on the menu.

Soirée’s bar department provides a versatility on its cocktails that attracts ladies and gents to have their favourite drinks. Whether coming for DJ and live performance on the weekend, special offers are also available from Tuesday to Saturday. The professional bartender also serves a personalised cocktails where patrons could pick their preferred ingredients and challenge the bartender to make it for them.

Besides sipping its classic and fruity cocktails, one must sip lemon Apple Xnyder, the new exquisite drinks mixed from Rum, homemade limoncello, apple juice, Elderflower syrup, grated cinnamon, and apple fruit floating on the martini glass.

Without spirit and liquor, other beverages are creatively created with heart. Soirée Soree and Kiwiinspired are worth a try but one will appreciate the exotic and nutty flavour of Soirée Dateline, a combination of date fruit, fresh grapes, yogurt, and chocolate cookies syrup served in a traditional wine glass is truly mouthwatering dessert beverage.
