Jamba has returned to Indonesia with a new store at Gandaria City, Jakarta, introducing an expanded menu and a broader all-day concept for customers looking beyond the brand’s familiar smoothies. The California-born brand is now back in the Indonesian market under MRA Group, with the Gandaria City store designed to serve everything from breakfast and lunch to afternoon breaks and casual meet-ups throughout the day.
Founded in 1990, Jamba built its name around blended fruit and vegetable drinks before expanding into bowls, juices and grab-and-go food. Its return to Jakarta comes at a time when eating habits are increasingly shaped by flexible workdays, shorter meal windows and the expectation that one venue can serve several purposes without requiring much planning.
Jamba’s new Indonesian concept responds to those changing routines with a broader all-day menu. The Gandaria City store serves the brand’s Whirl’d Famous Smoothies in Classic and Goodness ’n Greens varieties, alongside fresh juices, over-ice beverages, smoothie bowls, fusion bowls, coffee, tea and sandwiches.
A morning visit might mean a smoothie bowl and coffee; lunchtime could be a sandwich with fresh juice; later in the day, the choice shifts easily towards an iced drink or a smoothie shared over a catch-up. The brand’s long-standing idea that customers should leave feeling better than when they arrived comes through in simple, tangible ways: real fruit in the blender, made-to-order bowls, quick bites for busier hours and enough variety to linger over something different when the pace slows down.

“We are excited to bring Jamba back to Indonesia. Today’s consumers are looking not only for great-tasting food and beverages, but also for choices that fit seamlessly into their active and dynamic lifestyles,” said Syanti Dewi, General Manager of Jamba Indonesia. “That’s why we create smoothies, juices, bowls, and more using real fruit and quality ingredients, delivering vibrant flavours that people can enjoy anytime throughout the day. Our hope is simple: that every customer who enjoys Jamba leaves feeling brighter than before.”
Jamba’s return is being led by MRA Group, whose portfolio in Indonesia spans retail, hospitality, luxury and media. The company also represents international brands including Häagen-Dazs, Bvlgari, Omega, 707 Company Indonesia and atmos, alongside media titles such as Harper’s BAZAAR Indonesia, Cosmopolitan Indonesia, Her World Indonesia, Mother & Beyond and CASA Indonesia.
Globally, Jamba operates more than 750 locations across nine countries as of March 2026. Its Gandaria City opening brings that network back into Jakarta with a concept tailored for longer trading hours and a wider range of everyday occasions.
