Known for its Teppanyaki experience and premium Shabu-Shabu selections, the celebrated dining destination is now starting its next chapter by showing a different side of itself through The Teppan Ritual by Kahyangan. This concept turns the formal side of Japanese dining into a social weekend brunch. Every Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant takes on the relaxed feel found in global brunch culture, while the kitchen still keeps the craftsmanship they’ve been known for since the seventies.
Served in two main chapters, the brunch is designed for sharing and conversation. The afternoon begins with a wide selection of sushi and sashimi, live tuna cutting, Japanese appetizers, seasonal salads, seafood specialties, tempura, yakimono selections, comforting warm dishes, and more beloved culinary staples. Next, Kahyangan’s master chefs bring their expertise directly to the table, preparing à la minute selections of sizzling beef steak, ox tongue, gindara, snapper, and seasonal vegetables. For a sweet finish, desserts feature personalized creations like yuzu and matcha ice creams, azuki cheesecake, assorted mochi, and Kahyangan’s signature coffee jelly.
To complement the experience, there is an option to add, Endless Pour of Sake or Wine Pairing. This update to the Kahyangan experience really shows how Jakarta’s dining scene is evolving. The Teppan Ritual by Kahyangan welcomes guests every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia.
