David Daguise

The magnificent Pullman Jakarta Indonesia proudly announced the appointment of David Daguise as General Manager of the five-star hotel. An experienced French hotelier with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he’s worked at respected international hotel brands and groups across the globe and has several hotel openings under his belt.

With an iron-willed personality and interest in exploring new countries and cultures, David began his career in England as a Guest Relations officer, which led to opportunities working at various prominent International hotel groups in the Caribbean, Mauritius, Seychelles and Maldives.

In 2010, David joined Accor group as the Resident Manager of Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Gold & Spa Resort in Thailand and by 2013 he was appointed as the pre-opening General Manager of The Lake Garden Nay Pyi Taw – MGallery in Myanmar, before becoming General Manager of SO Sofitel Hua Hin in Thailand. Following several years of successful achievements in operations, customer service and revenue growth, David went back to Myanmar and was appointed as Cluster General Manager for Novotel and opened the inaugural Sofitel establishment in the country in Inle Lake.

His last post before making his big move to Indonesia to spearhead Pullman Jakarta Indonesia was opening the first phase of the new vibrant Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas & Resort in Thailand.

As my first assignment in Indonesia, I am excited to embrace a new experience, explore the country and obviously engage with the Indonesian people who are so kind and hospitable. I strongly believe that together with my team, we will be able to deliver an authentic and high-quality experience. The property has tremendous potential which will unfold as we move forward. New concepts, personalized service, high-quality standards, attention to the product and creativity are among some of the initiatives that are already in motion. I am very confident in the success of the team and the hotel,” said David Daguise.

Exuding a humble, curious and humble personality, the veteran hotelier brings a strong enthusiasm that he hopes to share with his team in his new role at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia. He is set to achieve more significant opportunities and to reinforce Pullman Jakarta Indonesia as a city landmark. He also strongly believes in people’s development and takes pride in knowing everyone’s hopes and ambitions in order to give everyone the chance to grow in their respective abilities and skills.
