Are you a fan of Latin American food? Then don’t miss the second volume of ‘SaBOR’, a Latin Food Festival, taking place on Saturday, 27 January 2024. Held at Sudestada Jakarta, the popular Argentinian grill restaurant in Menteng, explore authentic delicacies, workshops, live music and a unique market.
SaBOR, meaning flavour, will showcase cuisine from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Chile, featuring street-food favourites such as ceviche, tacos, churros and completos, plus regional refreshments like the classic Capirinha.
This culinary experience goes beyond just eating as SaBOR visitors to join unique workshops. Take part in an Argentinian wine tasting, or Colombian coffee tasting, learn the history and production of yerba mate, and sit down for speed dating in Spanish!
Explore the local market featuring artisanal spices and Latin American bumbu, with handmade goods and regional crafts, and enjoy traditional Andean music by Pacha Chalwanka. Taking place from 10am to 6pm, enjoy a day of cultural immersion and explore the unique flavours, experiences and entertainment.
