Singapore Airlines Group Joins Singapore’s 60th Birthday Celebrations with Deals, Delights, and a Dose of Giving Back

In a heartwarming tribute to Singapore’s 60th year of independence, Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group marks the occasion with an exciting campaign dubbed “Celebrating with Singapore”. Running from April through December 2025, this SG60-themed initiative blends irresistible travel offers with cultural highlights and charitable efforts.

For those bitten by the travel bug, there’s good news. Passengers can snap up special SG60 fares on Singapore Airlines and its low-cost sibling, Scoot. Bonus miles are also on the cards for Scoot flights, and KrisFlyer’s ever-popular Spontaneous Escapes promotion is getting a celebratory twist with added discounts.

The perks don’t stop at boarding passes. Expect exclusive SG60 deals across Kris+, KrisShop, and Pelago—making it easier than ever to indulge, shop, or plan your next adventure. Even KrisWorld, the in-flight entertainment system, is getting festive, rolling out Celebrating Singapore-themed content that showcases the island’s rich history, vibrant arts, and diverse culture.

And because no tribute to Singapore would be complete without a nod to its culinary heritage, SIA will be serving up iconic local dishes on selected flights and in its prestigious SilverKris lounges.

Still, it’s not all about food, flights, and flash sales. Community is the essence of the Singaporean spirit, and so the Singapore Airlines Group has set an ambitious goal: to raise SGD 1.3 million in support of two homegrown charities—AWWA and Rainbow Centre, both of which provide essential services to children and youth with disabilities and special needs. And in a commendable show of commitment, the Group has pledged to match the total funds raised, bringing the donation target to a generous SGD 2.6 million.

The airline is also opening its doors—literally—with a special edition of the SIA Cares Open House this July. Over two days, more than 600 beneficiaries, including individuals from low-income families, at-risk youth, and persons with disabilities from various local social service agencies, will be invited behind the scenes for an exclusive tour of SIA’s training centre.

SIA’s Chief Executive Officer, Goh Choon Phong, shared: “As Singapore celebrates 60 years of nation-building, the SIA Group is deeply thankful for the tremendous support we’ve received from our customers and the wider Singapore community. Our journey is closely linked with the nation’s own growth and progress. Through the Celebrating with Singapore campaign, we hope to express our gratitude, give back to the community, and commemorate SG60 with meaningful impact.”

From discounted travel to heartfelt outreach, SIA is determined to show that national pride can take flight in more ways than one.
