Attended by 129 participants, the tourney offered a great day out starting with seamless registration, breakfast and a fun tournament.
The first SwissCham Indonesia Golf Tournament was held on Friday, 9 August 2019 at one of Indonesia’s most challenging and beautiful courses, Royale Jakarta Golf Club. This event is part of the Chamber’s activities to promote business and social network among its existing and potential members, BOD and Jakarta’s prominent business people.
The format of the day was Four Man Team Texas Scramble, which required a good solid teamwork. There was a fantastic hole in one prize – a Hublot Big Bang Unico Golf Watch sponsored by Time International up for grabs. However, the fabulous prize stayed unclaimed until end of the day.
One of the highlights of this event was Alpenhorn player, Mr. Marcel Baerenfaller, flown in especially as a guest player for this event, courtesy of Switzerland Tourism. There was a fun photo contest featuring him and Swiss’ signature super long horn, which produced some rather hilarious and very interesting shots from each team.
