The Indonesian Ministry for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) is set to form a consolidation of hotels owned by BUMN through the Hotel Indonesia Group (HIG) synergy agreement. In the first step of this programme, there will be a synergy between hotels owned by PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN), PT Patrajasa and PT Aerowisata.
The synergy aims to transform HIG into the biggest hotel chain in Indonesia. Another vision of HIG synergy is to provide the best possible service for local and international travellers by highlighting the internationally acknowledged Indonesian hospitality. Currently, HIG comprises of 26 hotels including seven Aerowisata hotels, twelve hotels owned by Hotel Indonesia Natour and seven hotels owned by Patrajasa. The HIG synergy also resulted in the signing of nine hotels belonging to PT Pegadaian and one hotel owned by Taman Wisata Candi located near the Borobudur temple.
