For this year’s Christmas theme The Gaia Hotel Bandung chose “Heaven and Earth Sing” as the theme where all guests can rejoice together in welcoming Christmas, greeted with gratitude and praise.
Throughout December, every weekend, on Friday and Saturday, Santa Claus will walk around the Lobby area and greet guests while bringing gifts to distribute to the children. For those who want to give special gifts to their loved ones, The hotel also offers a selection of hampers, namely Hampers Boxes from Inspira Roasters at a price of IDR 495,000 nett/box or Hampers Boxes from The Gaia Hotel Bandung for IDR 895,000 complete with pop up boxes, cakes, chocolates, candy, kitchen towels, to Christmas ornaments.
In conjunction with the theme on 23 December, the hotel will hold a Christmas Songs and Stories, where there will be a special mini-concert filled with stories and praise that invites the audience to rejoice over the coming of this day. This concert will feature several performers, one of which is VG Benedictus Reformed Indonesian Theological College where some of the songs performed are original works. It is continued with performances from the Santa Angela Choir, with members ranging from elementary to high school, ready to entertain the guests who came with special performances. It does not stop there, the Residents Choir (as the employees of The Gaia Hotel Bandung) also enliven the Christmas Songs and Stories event at the Amphitheater.
On 24 and 25 December, at Monomono Bar & Social Dining, there will be a Christmas Nikkei Dinner which will be specially prepared by Chef Juan Jara, namely, a 6-set menu featuring Yellowfin Tuna Tartar, Foie Gras Nigiri, Turkey Roulade, Australian Grass-fed Beef Strip Steak, Yuzu Bomb while accompanied by Live Music throughout dinner at a price of IDR 595,000 nett/person. Apart from that, on that date, Gaia Asian Semeja Kitchen also provides a variety of dishes such as the legendary Bandung favourite meal, various main courses, salads and desserts at IDR 345,000 nett/person.
Arriving at the end of the year, 31 December to be precise, the hotel chooses the theme “Let Us Be Glad” for the new year where guests can together grateful and happy with what has been achieved and done during 2022. There are two different choices of places to have dinner on New Year’s Eve, namely Gaia Semeja Asian Kitchen and Monomono Bar & Social Dining.
At Gaia Semeja Asian Kitchen there is a buffet inspired by Izakaya, Asian, Bandung Snacks, Jimbaran Seafood, and others with prices starting from IDR 545,000 nett/person. It’s different at Monomono Bar & Social Dining, which serves a 6-course Nikkei cuisine set menu by Chef Juan Jara, with prices starting from IDR 745,000 nett/person. The celebration will be even more special with an event hosted by MC Ricky Alik, accompanied by live music from Bern Music and a countdown with Harra Music.
Entering New Year’s Eve, the most awaited event is the Main Countdown at the Edelweiss Ballroom where the fun begins, various games and activities for children are provided, from darts, ultimate big punch, king of the hammer, tattoo glitter, manic crafts and many more. The Main Countdown event will start at 19:30 pm and will be hosted by MC Dody 3D and Yunni, opened by The Lofty, with a special performance from The Master’s Joe Sandy, ending with a Countdown by Marcell Siahaan and of course, what you should not miss is the fireworks display. The Main Countdown event will be full of various dishes and there will be lots of attractive door prizes as well.
