There are many reasons why pizza ranks among the most popular dishes in the world. One of them is the pure delight of watching a chef tossing and spinning pizza dough in the air.

And yes, there are World Championships to find the best Pizza Acrobat Chef from across the globe. Chef Pasqualino Barbasso who managed to clinch that title – World Champion Pizza Acrobat Chef – twice already, will be in Jakarta in December to show off his amazing skills and, of course, serve authentic and delicious Italian pizzas.

Chef Pasqualino will present his “theatrical pizza lunch” at Caffè Milano, Grand Indonesia Mall. His pizza menu will be available at Caffe Milano for a limited time and includes mouthwatering gems such as Profumo d’Alba (Asparagus Cream, Mozzarella, Black Truffles and Egg Yolk Crumbs) and Pistachio (Mozzarella, Pistachio Pesto, Pancetta and Parmesan).

He began his culinary career by working in his family’s pizzeria in a small town in Sicily, learning his trade ever since he was a young boy. Chef Pasqualino was crowned World Champion Pizza Acrobat in 2001 and 2002 and has been traveling around the world since to entertain enthusiastic crowds with his incredible twirls, spins and juggles.
