Marriott International has expanded its presence in Jakarta with the opening of Jakarta Marriott Hotel Gelora. Combining modern design, comfortable facilities and warm hospitality, the 29-storey hotel offers a new choice for business and leisure travellers in the capital.
Located on Jalan Gelora V in Central Jakarta, the hotel provides easy access to key business, shopping and lifestyle destinations, including the Gelora Bung Karno sports complex. Its gold façade stands out on the city skyline, while its interiors offer a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel has 203 guestrooms and suites, along with 35 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, catering to both short visits and extended stays. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in natural light, while warm colours and carefully chosen materials create a comfortable, contemporary feel. Suites and selected apartments also offer extra living space and bathtubs.
The hotel features five restaurants and bars, each offering a different dining experience. At the heart of the hotel, the Greatroom is a welcoming place to meet friends, hold informal meetings or enjoy artisanal tea and freshly brewed coffee.
Kavory serves international and Betawi dishes throughout the day in a bright setting, with a wine room, private dining areas and alfresco seating. At Belloro, Chef Andrea Burzio brings classic Italian flavours to the table, while Kiyona offers Japanese cuisine led by three chefs, each holding two Michelin stars. Guests can choose from a sake bar, an omakase counter, teppan tables and private dining rooms.
For evening drinks, Rothias Bar provides an intimate setting with a carefully designed interior and a selection of spirits. Guests staying in Club Rooms and suites, along with eligible Marriott Bonvoy members, can also enjoy access to the M Club Lounge.
With six event spaces, the hotel is also suited to business meetings, conferences, weddings and social gatherings. Its 490-square-metre ballroom can accommodate up to 450 guests and features natural daylight, modern audiovisual equipment and a built-in LED screen.
Five additional meeting rooms cater to smaller gatherings, while the 250-square-metre pre-function area provides space for refreshments and casual conversations, with views of the city.
Guests looking to unwind can take a dip in the semi-outdoor infinity pool, which offers views of the Jakarta skyline, or visit the 24-hour fitness centre to keep up with their workout routine.
The spa offers treatment rooms for individuals and couples, providing a quiet space to relax. Families travelling with children can also visit the Kids Club, where younger guests can enjoy a range of activities.
