BWA Charity Ball & Fashion Show
On Saturday, 17 May 2025, the British Women’s Association (BWA) will host the annual BWA Charity Ball at the legendary Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. In the face of unfortunate COVID cutbacks, the BWA committee was determined to return with a fantastic ball reminiscent of past editions like the 2020 Arabian Nights Ball.
This isn’t just a party—it’s a night where generosity meets glamour. Guests will be treated to:
• A gourmet dining experience
• Free-flow drinks throughout the evening
• Live music and dancing into the night
• A dazzling Fashion Show by renowned local designer Ibu Yurita Puji, celebrating 50 years of iconic British style—with an Indonesian batik twist!
As guests dance the night away to the live band, “Center Stage”, money raised from the Charity Ball directly supports BWA’s social welfare projects—inc. medical equipment for a neonatal clinic that provides care for premature babies in low-income families.
