Whenever Ramadan arrives, it changes the way people gather, eat, and mark the passing of the evening. This year, InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar is leaning into that moment with Rona Ramadan, a rotating break-fasting programme at Damai Restaurant wrapped as a Six-Hands Iftar Experience, that places three of Indonesia’s most respected chefs at the centre of the table running from 19 February to 18 March 2026.
For travellers and Bandung residents, the draw is as much about when and were as what’s on the table. Ramadan tends to slow the pace of the evening, making it a natural time for planned catch-ups and meals that feel considered, and this programme caters to that exact need. With the rotating chef format, the menu keeps things flexible, as they revisit familiar Indonesian flavours through different perspective during this Holy Month.

Chef Theo Setyo Widhyarto opens the series from19 February to 1 March 2026. Known for his modern approach and bold compositions, his menus focus on layered flavours and strong visual identity. Highlights include Udang Rujak Lodek with poached prawns and spicy tamarind dressing, Laksa Kerang with black mussels and coconut broth, and Daging Tuturuga, a slow-roasted striploin served with spiced coconut sauce and kemangi crumble.
From 2 to 11 March 2026, the kitchen shifts to Chef Degan Septoadji, whose career has long bridged tradition and innovation. His iftar menus draw from regional influences across Southeast Asia, seen in dishes such as Selada Jeruk Bali with soft shell crab, Tom Kha Goong scented with kaffir lime leaf, and Beef Picanha Panggang Sambal Hijau served from the carving station.
The final rotation from 12 to 18 March 2026, belongs to Chef Norman Ismail, whose work centres on culinary heritage and education. His selections lean towards depth and familiarity, including Udang Pindang Bangka, Gulai Kepiting Soka, and Iga Bakar Saus Kluwek & Kacang, bringing regional Indonesian flavours into a refined iftar setting.
Alongside the rotating chef menus, guests can expect premium cheese and charcuterie, seafood on ice, sushi, Middle Eastern mezze, Arabic and Asian dishes, live carving and action stations, desserts, and traditional takjil, allowing diners to balance exploration with comfort.
Rona Ramadan – A Six-Hands Iftar Experience is served daily at Damai Restaurant, InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar, from 6 pm to 10 pm, priced at IDR 488,000++ per person.
