Bringing the theme Offerings, ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 marks a shift in how art is experienced, not merely as objects, but as gestures of meaning, dialogue, and connection. Featuring an impressive line-up of artists from Indonesia and abroad, the highly anticipated fair invites visitors to witness how artists, collectors, and communities come together in celebration of creativity and cultural exchange from 5 to 7 June 2026.

Returning for its much-anticipated 2026 edition, the leading Southeast Asian fair for modern and contemporary art will take place at the strategically located Agora Ballroom. This year’s theme, Offerings, signals an evolution in the art fair experience, where art becomes an offering of ideas, stories, and shared encounters.

The concept reflects a growing movement towards art as an exchange of ideas, emotions, and cultural perspectives. Artists, galleries, and collectors are invited to participate in a collective act of giving, where each artwork becomes a conduit for storytelling, dialogue, and human connection.

Offerings reflects this evolution and positions the fair as a space where art becomes a form of giving, whether cultural, emotional, intellectual, or even spiritual, in response to a world that increasingly values meaning, connection, and authenticity,” said Sendy Widjaja, Co-Founder and Fair Director ArtMoments Jakarta.

Building on previous themes of Renewal and Restoration, this year’s edition enters a more intentional phase, exploring what the art world can offer in return after a period of reflection and recovery. The result is a dynamic platform where artistic visions, curatorial direction, and collector engagement converge in a unified cultural dialogue.

This year’s edition brings together 75 exhibitors from across Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and South Korea, presenting a compelling dialogue between artistic heritage and contemporary expression. The line-up features pioneering Indonesian avant-garde figures including Sudjana Kerton, S. Sudjojono, Mochtar Apin, Gregorius Sidharta, Made Wianta, and Jeihan Sukmantoro, alongside emerging contemporary voices such as Demi Padua and Arifin Neif.

For its 2026 programme, ArtMoments Jakarta strikes a thoughtful balance between legacy and innovation. Highlights include ArtMoments Masters, celebrating influential modern and established artists, alongside curated exhibitions such as Intimacy of Offerings, which explores deeply personal interpretations of the fair’s central theme. The introduction of Charity Moments further reinforces art’s role as a catalyst for social impact and community engagement.

The experience is further enriched through a diverse range of artistic media, from the expressive works presented by the International Watercolor Society to evocative photography by Ted Van der Hulst. Interactive initiatives such as MobArt’s Kids Section and the launch of Carrot Card Season 2 introduce fresh and accessible ways for audiences, particularly younger collectors, to discover, appreciate, and engage with art in more meaningful ways.

Departing from the conventional art fair format, the event embraces a more holistic and participatory approach, shaped by a cohesive curatorial vision led by Jeong Ok Jeon. Anchored by the theme Offerings, the fair orchestrates a thoughtful dialogue between artworks, programmes, and audiences, transforming the experience into one of exchange rather than passive observation.
