Inside Markette, a casual dining spot by ISMAYA Group, the night is just getting started as the venue introduces a new cocktail program.
Branching out from its famous comfort food lineup of loaded sandwiches and sizzling plates, the brand offers a relaxed alternative to Jakarta’s stiff and expensive bar scene. There are no dress codes, complicated gimmicks, or high price tags. Instead, this affordable menu of beers, wines, and classic cocktails is designed to turn a regular post-work hangout into a proper night out.
To keep things easy for groups, most of the cocktails come by the pitcher, making it simple to settle in for a long catch-up without constantly reordering. The drinks themselves stick to familiar recipes that everyone knows. For instance, the menu features a clean Mojito with rum and mint, alongside a fruity Sangria that blends tequila, shiraz, and soda. For classic flavours, guests can grab a lime-forward Margarita, a tart Cosmopolitan, or a sweet, tropical Piña Colada. The bar also serves a Long Island that stays remarkably easy to drink despite mixing five different spirits. The only exceptions to the pitcher rule are the Negroni and the Old Fashioned, which are served strictly by the glass for anyone wanting a stronger, spirit-forward option.

“Many people come to Markette for the food, but we also want to create an experience that feels more relaxed beyond regular dining hours,” says Cendyarani, President Director of ISMAYA Group. “Sometimes people simply want to stay longer, talk without rushing, or enjoy the weekend with something familiar yet still special.”
A memorable night out does not require a major milestone or a formal reservation. A relaxed table, good comfort food, and a round of drinks are usually all it takes to get people talking. The most rewarding evenings are the spontaneous ones that happen naturally, where the conversation keeps flowing and the hours pass unnoticed.
