The weekend starts a little earlier at Grand Café, Grand Hyatt Jakarta, where Friday nights are now dedicated to Wagyu Feast. Available every Friday evening from 6pm, the new dining experience puts premium Wagyu at the centre of a buffet that combines live cooking stations, table-served specialties, and a generous selection of international and Indonesian dishes.
The evening starts with A5 Kagoshima Wagyu, followed by table-served dishes including Chawanmushi, Bone Marrow with Sambal Ijo Emulsion, and Barramundi Tuturuga, before opening up to a buffet filled with more Wagyu creations. One of the highlights is the series of live cooking stations, where chefs prepare each dish to order. Diners can watch Wagyu Wellington being sliced, Wagyu Ribs carved fresh from the roast, and Wagyu Beef Rolls assembled on the spot. The selection also includes familiar favourites such as Wagyu Sukiyaki and Wagyu Burger, while Indonesian flavours take a new form through dishes like Iga Wagyu, Wagyu Beef Rendang, and Wagyu Sate Maranggi.
The Wagyu Feast is available from IDR 758,000++ per person, with beverage pairings available to complete the evening. The Easy Indulgence package includes two hours of free-flow Zonin Montepulciano wine, beer, soft drinks, and fresh juices at IDR 400,000++ per person, while the Celebration Experience features a wider selection of drinks, from Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial and cocktails to beer, mocktails, soft drinks, coffee, and tea, priced at IDR 1,000,000++ per person.
The Wagyu selections are joined by Grand Café’s signature international and Indonesian dishes, which remain available throughout the dinner service.
