Gaia Music Festival returns to The Gaia Hotel Bandung for its fifth edition on 14–15 August 2026. Guided by this year’s theme, “Music For All,” the festival features a lineup that spans jazz, pop, rock, and indie, inviting audiences of all ages to enjoy two days of live music amid Bandung’s cool natural surroundings.
Leading this year’s lineup are Gigi Jazz Project, RAN, Teddy Adhitya, Adikara, Littlefingers, Keubitbit, Love Is, and a special collaboration between Karimata and Tiara Effendy. Bass G featuring Song Brothers will also perform across both days at the Endless Stage, a more intimate performance area overlooking the surrounding hills.
Several artists have already teased what they’ll bring to the stage. Karimata reunites with Tiara Effendy for a special collaborative set, while Gigi Jazz Project reimagines GIGI favourites through jazz arrangements, including selections from the group’s latest live album. Love Is will perform songs from its newest album with room for improvisation, while Teddy Adhitya is looking forward to returning to Bandung, where the festival’s relaxed atmosphere has become part of its appeal.
Behind the lineup is curator Bagas Indyatmono, Founder of Jazz Gunung Indonesia, who wants the festival to be a place where audiences discover new artists while returning for familiar favourites. That experience, he says, depends as much on the performances as it does on the quality of the stage, sound, and lighting.
For Chairman Rony Triawan, “Music For All” is more than a theme. “The industry is facing its own challenges, but people still need places where they can enjoy live entertainment and spend time together. Through Music For All, we want to bring musicians, communities, and audiences of different generations together to share the same experience,” he said.
Before the festival heads to Bandung, GMF Takeover will make a stop at Beebop Bar & Kitchen in Jakarta, bringing together GMF artists and Bass G for a series of intimate jam sessions that offer a preview of the festival’s collaborative spirit.
With more than 1,000 visitors expected over two days, Gaia Music Festival continues to strengthen its place on Bandung’s cultural calendar while supporting the city’s tourism and creative economy. For The Gaia Hotel Bandung, the festival has become a signature event that reflects its Active/Rest philosophy. The festival will once again feature accessible facilities for families and visitors with disabilities, alongside sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact.
Ticket information, performance schedules, and further programme details will be announced through Gaia Music Festival’s official channels in the coming weeks.
