The Jakarta Concert Orchestra, under the baton of conductor Avip Priatna, will present Simfoni untuk Bangsa 2026: Jejak Nada Dian HP, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Graha Bhakti Budaya, a concert celebrating one of Indonesia’s most accomplished figures in music. The evening pays tribute to Dian Agustini H., better known as Dian HP, whose work has left a lasting mark on Indonesian music for more than three decades.
As a composer, arranger, music director and producer, Dian HP has built a career that spans theatre, film and popular music. Her credits include Gita Cinta The Musical, Ali Topan The Musical, INGGIT and MAR, alongside albums for Tasya and AFI Junior and film scores for Denias, Serigala Terakhir and Love Is Cinta. Over the years, her work has earned Citra Awards, Vidya Awards and the 2025 AMI Awards, while her role as music director for the Sabang Merauke Show further cemented her place in Indonesia’s performing arts scene.
Drawing from those works, the concert features symphonic arrangements by the Jakarta Concert Orchestra, offering audiences the chance to revisit music that has accompanied memorable moments on stage, on screen and through generations of listeners. From musical theatre favourites to film scores, the concert highlights the breadth of Dian HP’s work, this time performed in a full orchestral setting.
The evening is rounded out by performances from Farman Purnama, Christine Tambunan, Jessica Januar, pianist Caitlin Wiranata, the Batavia Madrigal Singers and The Resonanz Children’s Choir, all appearing with the Jakarta Concert Orchestra under Avip Priatna.
