Archipelago Hotels has kicked off its latest Global Flavours Series with “60 Seconds to Tokyo”, a Japanese street food festival at Hotel Neo Kota Baru Parahyangan in Bandung. Following last year’s Korean-inspired edition, this year’s campaign turns its attention to the everyday dishes and casual dining culture found across Japan.
This time, the spotlight is on the everyday dishes found across Japan from hearty comfort food to café-style desserts and refreshing beverages. Wagyu Burger, Hambagu and Menchi Katsu are among the savoury highlights, while Japanese Cotton Cheesecake and Kuromitsu Matcha Puff satisfy those with a sweet tooth. Drinks such as Hojicha Latte, Shizuku Matcha Cooler and Sakura Sunset complete the selection.

Food isn’t the only reason people gathered at Hotel Neo Kota Baru Parahyangan, the festival offers a full day of entertainment. Cosplay appearances, Japanese idol dance performances and Taiko drumming are scheduled throughout the day, while DJs keep the playlist filled with J-pop and anime favouritesA Tokyo-themed photo corner gives visitors another reason to explore the venue.
Bandung was a fitting choice for the launch. The city has long embraced Japanese popular culture from anime communities to cosplay events, making it a natural home for the festival. The launch also brought together participating Archipelago Hotels from West Java, Jakarta and Banten ahead of the campaign’s expansion across Indonesia.

Running from July to December 2026, the campaign will continue at 139 Archipelago Hotels across Indonesia. Guests can expect Japanese-inspired dishes to appear not only in hotel restaurants, but also on room service menus and delivery platforms, making it easy to satisfy a craving wherever they are.
Whether visiting the festival in Bandung or dining at a participating hotel elsewhere in the country, 60 Seconds to Tokyo offers a chance to explore some of Japan’s best-loved street food favourites closer to home.
