Jakarta’s Independence Day table is taking a brief detour through Latin America. On Sunday, 16 August 2026, COPA Restaurant at 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird will serve its Un-Odd Sunday Brunch Merdeka Edition, pairing Indonesian flavours with the restaurant’s Latin American approach.
Served from 12pm to 3pm, the brunch is priced at IDR 528++ per person, while children aged six to 11 dine for IDR 268,00++. Three hours, a table full of sharing dishes and every reason to return for seconds make this a rather easy Independence Day plan for families, friends and hungry travellers.
The savoury line-up gets straight to business. Grilled Barramundi comes with a punchy woku sauce, putting the flavours of Manado firmly on the plate. The Ayam Geprek Sandwich piles crispy fried chicken, sambal ijo mayonnaise, pickled shallot and tomato into a brioche bun. Familiar, certainly, though possibly best approached with both hands!
COPA’s Latin American staples receive their own Indonesian accents. Tuna Ceviche is served with sambal matah and ponzu sauce, while Paletas Latin Ice Cream closes the meal with flavours drawn from Indonesia. A wider brunch spread completes the menu, with plenty designed for sharing and repeat visits to the table.
The event is supported by TABASCO®, Patrón Tequila, Marak and Adore Cacao, adding further flavour to an afternoon already generous in variety.
