The Marriott Charity Classic Golf Tournament returns on Saturday, 22 August 2026, at Jatinangor National Golf & Resort, bringing golfers, hospitality leaders and corporate partners together to raise funds for clean water projects in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Organised in partnership with Solar Chapter, this year’s tournament will direct its proceeds towards providing sustainable water access for two villages and approximately 3,389 residents.
For many communities in NTT, reliable access to safe water remains limited. The consequences reach into daily routines with families spending time securing water, health risks increase and children can lose hours that would otherwise be spent at school. The projects supported through this year’s tournament will focus on infrastructure that gives residents a dependable local water source.
“Access to clean water changes lives in profound ways. It improves health, supports education, and helps communities thrive,” said Mustika Wijaya, Founder of Solar Chapter. “Partnerships such as the Marriott Charity Classic allow us to expand our reach and create sustainable solutions for more communities across Indonesia.”
The tournament turns a familiar corporate golf fixture into a direct fundraising channel. Registration fees, partnerships and activities held throughout the day will contribute to the clean water programme, giving players a clear connection between their place on the course and the communities receiving support.
“The Marriott Charity Classic reflects our commitment to creating a positive impact outside our hotels and bringing people together around a purpose that matters,” said Sumit Joshi, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place. “Through this initiative, every participant contributes to improving access to one of life’s most essential resources, clean water.”
Registration opens at 10am, followed by a shotgun tee-off at 12pm. The standard rate is IDR 4,000,000 per player, while a limited early-bird rate is available at IDR 3,650,000. Two-player bundles are priced at IDR 3,500,000 per person, with four-player bundles reducing the rate to IDR 3,000,000 per person.
There is plenty happening between holes as well. Marriott Bonvoy hotels will provide food and beverage experiences throughout the day, alongside interactive fundraising activities and hospitality areas. The programme concludes with an evening gala, while each competitor will receive a goodie bag valued at IDR 2,000,000.
There is also a substantial prize pool at stake. Players will compete for prizes valued at up to IDR 888,000,000, including Hole-in-One prizes supported by BMW, IDN Watch and Power Golf.
The tournament is sponsored by Annathayaa Spa & Wellness, ECOLAB, Shiseido Professional and Robust Golf Academy, with additional support from partners including Blue Bird Group, Mayapada Hospital, Golf House, Lavazza, Victoria Arduino, Smart Score, Therapedic and others.
