The Ascott Limited – Indonesia held the ASR (Ascott Star Rewards) Festival 2025 from 4 to 8 June 2025 at Laguna Atrium, Central Park Mall, Jakarta, attracting over 7,000 visitors. Carrying the theme of “Live the Journey,” this year’s edition highlighted not only memorable stay experiences, but also responsible and sustainable travel options from Ascott.
Hundreds of new members joined Ascott Star Rewards during the event, attracted by the opportunity to enjoy year-round member benefits, including exclusive rates, reward points, and curated offers across Ascott-managed hotels and serviced residences worldwide. Thus, reinforcing the festival’s position as a key annual event for travel lovers, families, and loyal ASR members.

ASR Festival 2025 showcased The Ascott Limited Indonesia’s diverse hospitality portfolio, including Ascott, Citadines, Somerset, Oakwood, The Crest Collection, Preference, Vertu Hotels, Harris Hotels, Yello Hotels, Pop! Hotels, and Managed by The Ascott Limited brands such as The Botanica Sanctuary, Pesona Alam, and Shanaya Resort Malang. Adding to its unique appeal this year, even more Ascott properties across Southeast Asia were featured.
With the support of various parties, the festival delivered a dynamic mix of experiences, from themed booths and lifestyle workshops to talk shows, flash promotions with discounts up to 70%, and engaging activities. The returning “Discover the Star” Kid Singing Competition also gave young talents the opportunity to perform on the main stage, while the event’s finale energised the crowd with a special performance by HIVI, closing the festival on a high note.

Coinciding with World Environment Day on June 5th, this year’s ASR Festival powerfully demonstrated Ascott’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, anchored by its global sustainability program, Ascott CARES. During the festival, a key announcement was made, the achievement of Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification across multiple Ascott properties, as well as for the company at the corporate level.
The company also celebrated its recognition as a Great Place To Work®, underscoring its dedication to nurturing a positive and inclusive workplace culture. These significant accomplishments highlight Ascott’s active role in promoting greener practices across its operations, emphasizing sustainability, community engagement, and well-being.

“ASR Festival 2025 really goes to the heart of what we aim to do at Ascott, connect with travelers beyond just providing a place to stay. It’s about sharing a journey that has purpose, joy, and real meaning,” remarked Philip Barnes, Country General Manager for The Ascott Limited – Indonesia. “I’m incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we saw this year, and my sincere thanks go out to our dedicated teams, our valuable partners, and every single visitor who truly made this festival a resounding success.”
