To commemorate Indonesia’s Independence Day, Ayana Midplaza Jakarta hosts its first-ever Indonesian food festival between 17 and 24 August at the hotel’s Rasa Restaurant.

The festival features classic Indonesian dishes with a contemporary, new twist, courtesy of the culinary team around Chef Anka, who is known for giving long-time favorites a refreshing personal touch. The famous pepes ikan, for instance, which is usually made with freshwater fish, has been transformed into pepes salmon, whereas the rendang is prepared with beef cheeks, which turn this popular dish into melting and meaty goodness.

Using only freshly sourced ingredients from all around the country, the food festival presents unique flavors, surprising concepts and elegant presentations – a feast both for the palate and the eyes.

The Indonesia Food Festival at Rasa starts from Rp. 275.000 ++ per person. Please contact 021-251 0888 for more information and reservations.
