Spectrum restaurant at Fairmont Jakarta will be hosting a Sunday brunch featuring delectable French cuisines during the celebration of French National Day on 14 July. Savour an array of classic French dishes created by legendary chef, Paul Bocuse.
French national Day, also known as Bastille Day, sparks the spirit of unity among the French, and is usually celebrated with festivities where families and friends share good food and fine wine.
The special brunch menu prepared will include French-inspired gourmet foods such as Black Truffle Soup with foie gras and chicken broth enveloped in a puff pastry, or the classic protein dish Beef Bourguignon, a savory, seared beef simmered in rich red wine gravy. Don’t miss other classic French delicacies like the Escargot and Vegetables Ratatouille for light bites. Guests may also try Fish en Croute, a whole cleaned and skinned sea bass stuffed with a vegetable, wrapped in puff pastry and baked—a special menu inspired by The Bocuse Restaurant’s famous Salmon en Croute.
A wide selection of French imported premium cheeses is also available at the station. Those looking for a diverse dessert buffet will find Piece Montee, Mille Feuille. Madeleine and much more. The scrumptious Crepe Suzette, an all-time favourite French dessert consisting of crêpes with beurre Suzette, a sauce made of caramelized sugar and butter, tangerine or orange juice, zest and Grand Marnier, triple sec or orange Curaçao liqueur on top will be served directly by the table side for guests.
While enjoying French-style Sunday brunch, guests could enjoy live music performance. Parents are welcome to invite their kids to a children’s area with a wide range of activities from art and craft, nail and face painting and many other exciting indoor activities.
The Bastille Day Brunch at Spectrum Restaurant is available on 14 July, from 12.00am to 03.00pm with price at IDR 625,000++ per person. The brunch includes coffee, tea, special mocktails and fresh juices. Guests can also enjoy free-flow of French wines, bubbles and beer for an additional IDR 400,000++ per person.
