From 1 to 24 March 2019, Le Meridien Jakarta is hosting seasonal dining experience “Cita Rasa Sulawesi.” La Brasserie restaurant will feature authentic dishes from the island of Sulawesi.

Sulawesi, the eleventh largest island in the world & fourth in Indonesia, not only offers a variety of tourist destinations but also has a variety of unique culinary treats. The region’s cuisine is renowned for its fresh dishes and generous use of spices like nutmeg, chili peppers and lime leaves.

During this special event, Le Meridien Hotel Jakarta has flown in Chef Grace Natalia Titaheluw, Chef de Cuisine from Four Points by Sheraton Makassar, South Sulawesi to help the culinary team serve authentic dishes from Sulawesi.

“Cita Rasa Sulawesi” presents a variety of mouthwatering dishes like Daging Konro Makassar (Makassar-style rib soup), Ayam Tinoransak (Manado spicy braised chicken), and the well-known Mie Cakalang (skipjack tuna noodle soup from Manado). Sup Kaledo (cow's trotters soup served in spicy broth from Donggala), Kambing Bakar Sambal Colo Colo (grilled lamb with basil and tomato sauce) and Seafood BBQ are also available during the occasion.
