On Friday, 23 May 2025, H3 (Hotel Public Relations Association) Indonesia held H3XPO, the first exclusive B2B exhibition organised in collaboration with PERHUMAS (Indonesian Public Relations Association) at Autograph Tower, Thamrin Nine Complex, Jakarta.
With the theme of ‘Connecting Hospitality & Corporate Synergy,’ the event was attended by members of both organisations, including hospitality industry players and corporate communication professionals. From observing the impact on hotel occupancy rates on both ends, due to Indonesia’s government budget efficiency policies that limit government agencies from holding events at hotels, H3EXPO seeks to address the issue.
“PERHUMAS appreciates H3 Indonesia’s strategic initiative in organising H3XPO as a tangible form of collaboration between public relations practitioners and the hotel industry,” stated Glory Oyong, its Deputy Chairperson for Public Communication and Public Relations. She noted the unique challenges the hospitality industry faced from the post-pandemic situation and government policy adjustments, though she also recognised the opportunities presented.
“Through this forum, we are encouraging the creation of new business connections between hospitality industry players and decision-makers in the corporate sector,” Oyong added.
Yulia Maria, Chairperson of H3 Indonesia affirmed that the synergy between the hotel networks of H3 members and PERHUMAS members from various corporations can open up new mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities. Maria declared, “By hosting a curated event, H3EXPO provides direct access to decision-makers involved in business travel procurement, corporate event organisation, and future strategic partnership opportunities.”
