A full day of sustainability discussions is coming to Jakarta this month, with JAKARTA TRANSFORMATION – MVB Sustainability Forum 2026 set for Ra Suites Simatupang on Wednesday, 15 April, from 8 am to 6 pm. With hospitality, tourism and related sectors in focus, the forum will look at how the industry can move from headline promises to practical steps that hold up in real operations.
The event is part of a multi-city platform developed to support sustainability transformation across Indonesia. It focuses on practical solutions that help businesses respond to climate risks, resource pressures, shifting market expectations and changing regulations through measures that can be applied, tracked, and expanded.
The forum will centre on hospitality in an urban setting, where hotels, tourism operators, technology providers, certification bodies and sustainability innovators are facing increasing pressure to reduce environmental impact while strengthening resilience and business competitiveness.
Across the day, government representatives, industry leaders, certification institutions, solution providers and sustainability practitioners will gather to share implementation models, practical experience and approaches to responsible growth. Organisers are promising fresh perspectives from speakers working directly on the challenges facing the sector, with an emphasis on collaboration and measurable outcomes.
Keynote speakers will include representatives from the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia and Nadia Habibie. Panel sessions will feature voices from Control Union, PT Suparma Tbk, Green Rebel Food, Shiva Industries, Noovoleum, Eco Mantra, PT PIPA, Sundaya Indonesia, House Linen Bali, Bumiterra, Simonix, Recoolit, Rainforest Alliance, 3C and Grow-Up. The forum will be moderated by Alistair Speirs.
