Now occupying a 116-square-metre space on Level 2 of Grand Indonesia’s East Mall, Kempi Deli has officially returned with a refined concept, a refreshed appearance and a revitalised footprint. The newly designed deli, envisioned by Jakarta-based design firm Studio Breu, showcases an earth-toned palette, supplmented by white oak panelling, brass accents, and an open bar concept.
Elevating the exterior are fluted glass doors, elegant awnings, and custom Matsuo-tiled walls, as the interior captivates with Kaspia terrazzo countertops, intimate lighting, antique mirrors, cactus collection and Indonesian pottery. The seating is designed with flexibility in mind, offering comfortable sofas, tiered casual seating, and stylish stools, perfect for social, work or relaxation purposes after shopping.

Beyond the visual transformation, Kempi Deli’s return also introduces a modern menu that reflects quality ingredients, skilled craftsmanship, and comforting flavours. A highlight is the Kempinski Sourdough, a robust loaf made using a storied secret recipe passed down through the Kempinski legacy, boasting complex flavour and a crisp, golden crust.
In the viennoiserie selection, Twist Berries is a stand-out and the Pretzel Croissant offers a flaky-salty fusion. For sweet tooths, the Peanut Butter Doughnut and Valrhona Dulce Pistachio Doughnut demonstrate the decadence of the doughnut range.

On the cake front, the Gorgonzola Cheese Tart offers a bold and savoury profile, while the Hazelnut Cake is a crowd-pleaser, layered with Jivara Valrhona hazelnut cream, house-made hazelnut paste, and salted caramel, finished with a glossy Valrhona coating and chocolate sable for added texture and finesse.
Further enriching the menu are various comfort food favourites and main courses. Diners can enjoy soups, salads, and sandwiches, alongside all-day breakfast selections like K-Benedict, nutritious Chia Seed Bowl, pasta with Seafood Sambal Matah Aglio Olio, slow-cooked Wagyu Ragout Pappardelle and extra-filling Truffle Carbonara.

Complementing the food dishes, the deli also presents a beverage selection featuring matcha, tea, and freshly brewed coffee. They make for a perfect pair to an enjoyable meal or as a comforting standalone sip, in an environment designed for ease of browsing and interaction.
With renewed identity, culinary offerings, and a designed space that fosters connection and comfort, Kempi Deli firmly re-establishes itself as a lifestyle destination in the heart of Jakarta—ideal for morning coffee stops, midday treats, or late afternoon catch-ups.
