Keraton at The Plaza, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, announces its official unveiling as a luxury locale in Jakarta, marking the brand’s Southeast Asian debut where it reimagines the grandeur of Indonesia’s royal palaces through a modern lens.
With 137 guestrooms and suites, expansive accommodation is offered starting at 64 square metres, framed by soaring 3.86 metre ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe each room in natural light. Keraton at The Plaza collaborated with renowned design firm Hadiprana to infuse each space with contemporary Indonesian sensibilities, like batik kawung carvings.

Two dining spaces, The Club and The Lounge, exude a warm yet refined ambiance, ideal for lunches, dinners, or afternoon teas. Situated adjacent to the lobby, The Lounge acts as the hotel’s living room where guests can enjoy a selection of gourmet pastries, premium coffee, and artisanal teas. Meanwhile, The Club on level 7 offers private meeting and dining rooms, a chef’s table experience, The Bar and a wide dining area, while showcasing rotating collections of Indonesian art and local bespoke tea blends.
For guests seeking a more theatrical culinary experience, Keraton at The Plaza introduces its Teppan Dining Experience, available every Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. With private teppan tables available for groups of four or more, smaller parties are welcomed to share the teppan experience with others.

At the hotel, The Daily Keraton Experience series culturally connects local and international guests with the essence of Javanese heritage. Rooted in tradition yet accessible to all, these include the Keraton Art Tour, traditional dance and gamelan performances, coffee heritage masterclasses, and the family-friendly Sunday Fun Walk.
Situated within the Plaza Indonesia complex, Keraton at The Plaza places guests at the centre of Jakarta’s cultural, culinary, and retail landscape. In addition to room-charge privileges when dining at any of the seven restaurants and lounges at the neighboring Grand Hyatt Jakarta, guests benefit from direct entry to Club Olympus: a holistic wellness sanctuary accessible via a private passageway from the hotel’s sixth floor, which features a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a salt chlorinated swimming pool, lush garden spaces, and a tennis court.

To celebrate the momentous unveiling, World of Hyatt members can take advantage of the upcoming Global Offer sale on 3 July, offering up to 25% off stays when booked directly through Hyatt’s official channels.
“Keraton at The Plaza is a tribute to the rich traditions of Indonesia’s royal heritage reinterpreted for today’s global traveler,” said Parveen Kumar, General Manager of Keraton at The Plaza. “We are proud to unveil this exceptional property, which embodies a deep respect for cultural legacy, translated through thoughtful design, personalized service, and a strong sense of place.”

As the first Southeast Asia property under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Keraton at The Plaza embodies the brand’s spirit of individuality and sense of place. With its design, hospitality, and cultural storytelling, the hotel offers a stay both luxurious and meaningful.
Keraton at The Plaza invites guests to explore a narrative of timeless elegance, where every stay becomes a chapter in a greater story. Rooted in heritage, elevated by design, and shaped by authentic moments.
