As 2017 brings new spirit and presents endless opportunities, LaSalle College Jakarta is joyously celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. With two decades of experience in the education industry and more to come, LaSalle College Jakarta strives to be the best Design School in Indonesia.
To celebrate its 20th Anniversary, LaSalle College Jakarta successfully held its Creative Show “Jalinan” on 7 April 2017 at The Hall Senayan City with more than 2000 attendees. An exhibition showcased Student Portfolios, while the event also served as Graduation Ceremony for 252 graduates. The night was ended spectacularly with a fashion show from the Fashion Design Program.
Still in line with La Salle’s anniversary, the college will host yet another event – Creative Week 2017 at Main Atrium Food Society Mall Kota Kasablanka from 14 to 20 August 2017. This event is aimed at the Fashion Business Program, where students are taught to make their own fashion brands in the Enterprise class. They are not only learning about the theory, but are also required to produce the products and sell them to the public.
In addition to the bazaar from the Fashion Business Program, LaSalle College Jakarta also hosts activities from other programs. The Interior Design Program will organize an exhibition and furniture bazaar, while the Digital Media Design Program will hold a seminar and exhibition. The Photography Program will showcase the students’ works and the Make-up Program will present a make-up demo. The Creative Week will also include a lot of competitions for fashion enthusiasts. The main event will be the fashion shows by the Fashion Business Program. Therefore, anyone who is interested in fashion, design and art is invited to head over Kota Kasablanka in August and join Creative Week.
LaSalle College Jakarta is an International Design School based on Montreal Canada. With 23 campuses around the world, the school offers six different programs: Fashion Design, Fashion Business, Interior Design, Digital Media Design, Photography and Artistic Make Up. Students can obtain various degrees, including local bachelor, international diploma and certificate.
